After a couple of hours driving in the mountain landscape, we finally arrived at the Carlton. Urs, our outdoor butler for the day provided by the Carlton, was waiting for us with a creative schedule of open air activities.

Dopo circa un paio d’ore di guida circondati da un bellissimo panorama innevato, siamo finalmente arrivati all’Hotel Carlton. Urs, la nostra guida per la giornata offertaci dal Carlton, ci stava aspettando con un creativo programma di attività all’aperto.

Since the weather was cloudy and the visitibility was not extremely clear, we decided to go for a walk in the woods, instead of climbing up the mountains for a breath-taking view – which was also a very tempting alternative activity. Just keeping it in mind for the next time. Urs showed us the hidden gems of Engadine landscape in a lovely 2 hours walk in the nature – and also we were able to enjoy the company of a lot of animals by our path!

Siccome il tempo era nuvoloso e la visibilità scarsa, abbiamo optato per una passeggiata nel bosco, invece di salire sulla vetta delle montagne per ammirare il panorama – un’alternativa molto allettante da tenere a mente per la prossima volta. Urs ci ha mostrato le gemme nascoste delle Engadine in una bellissima passeggiata nella natura – abbiamo anche avuto la fortuna di vedere un sacco di animali nel nostro percorso!

Finally back for some rest! Having a Spa moment after being outside in the cold for a walk is one of my favorite moments while at the mountains. And especially with a Spa with a view like this, who doesn’t want to stop for a while?

Finalmente un po’ di relax! Apprezzare la Spa dopo essere rimasti all’aperto a lungo è uno dei miei momenti preferiti durante i miei soggiorni in montagna. E specialmente con una Spa con vista come questa, chi non vorrebbe fermarsi qui per po’?

Before getting ready for our dinner, we chilled in the Lobby, while listening to an amazing piano player who was bringing joy in the whole space with his soft notes.

Prima della cena, ci siamo accomodati nella Lobby, accompagnati da un formidabile pianista che suonava dolci note rilassanti.

The Italian Michelin starred restaurant Da Vittorio proposed us a tasting menu based on the milestones of its story.
