We arrived in Zurich on Friday afternoon with a terrible weather – we were so worried about our weekend plans – but the Park Hyatt’s staff was so kind and helpful that we forgot about the ugly storm. Also, the hotel’s chauffeur service is something really practical – and of course a luxury treat – to get around the city and to go to the airport.
Siamo arrivati a Zurigo venerdì pomeriggio con un noiosissimo temporale – ed eravamo preoccupati che i nostri piani per il weekend saltassero – ma lo staff del Park Hyatt è stato talmente gentile e disponibile da farci dimenticare ogni preoccupazione. Inoltre, il servizio chauffeur offerto dall’hotel è comodo per girare la città e andare all’aeroporto.
After chilling and getting familiar with our lovely Deluxe Room, we had a very tasty and fresh aperitif at the Onyx Bar on the ground floor – we were lucky because there was a football match from the World Cup and the ambience was pretty fun.
Dopo aver familiarizzato con la nostra accogliente Camera Deluxe, abbiamo optato per un aperitivo rinfrescante all’Onyx Bar – siamo stati fortunati perché c’era una partita della Coppa del Mondo e l’atmosfera era davvero divertente.
Straight after we moved to the parkhuus restaurant for a fine dinner. We tried the tasting menu with a selection of 5 dishes from the Chef. The kitchen is swiss-modern, so very linked to swiss traditional dishes, but with a touch of modernity.
Subito dopo, ci siamo spostati al ristorante parkhuus per una cena gourmet. Abbiamo provato il menu degustazione, una selezione di 5 piatti dello Chef. La cucina è svizzera-moderna, quindi molto focalizzata sulle tradizioni svizzere, ma con un tocco innovativo.
Since we spent a couple nights at the hotel, we decided to try both the room service breakfast and the buffet one served at the parkhuus. What a great idea we had! We were lucky that it was sunny – finally – and we had our brekkie in the terrace.
Siccome abbiamo soggiornato per due notti all’hotel, abbiamo deciso di provare sia il servizio in camera, sia il buffet del parkhuus per la colazione. Che grande idea! Siamo stati fortunati perché era una mattinata soleggiata – finalmente – e abbiamo gustato la nostra colazione nel patio.
